The Claimants are coming. We’ve known they were coming. Are we ready?

For half a millennium, we didn’t know life without the Claimants.

They came from a corner of our galaxy. They seized billions of stars, and with them a fraction of our night sky. We see them taking more, and we see them getting closer.

We don’t know if they intended a message, or if they even know we’re here. We only saw them coming, and so long as we did, some of us never knew peace.

It is 2107. They have Sirius, our neighbor and one among billions before it. We have only begun to master our own planets.

Sol is ours to cherish. It soon will not be ours alone.
